The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas offers Active Older Adults (AOA) programs and activities, designed to promote wellness and foster a sense of community for adults aged 55 and above. Through various fitness classes, including low-impact and arthritis-friendly options, both on land and in the water, older adults can stay physically active. Beyond fitness, the AOA activities includes social events like pot-luck lunches, group trips, and educational sessions that help reduce isolation, increase self-confidence, and strengthen social connections.
