ANGEL CAMP
Angel Camp creates an environment that allows children to explore and create with the support that their needs require, and is designed to accommodate children with special needs, ages 5–18. This summer program allows youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to experience typical day camp activities like archery, riflery (BBs), arts and crafts, swimming, canoeing, group games, field trips and more. Participants must be able to change or dress themselves with minimal assistance, and be able to use the restroom on their own.
The J.E.R. Chilton YMCA at Rockwall offers Angel Camp as a way for unique children to have a camp experience that they otherwise may not be able to have, and at no cost to parents! With the support of our community, this program is made possible through generous donations to our YMCA Annual Campaign. To learn more about how you can help please visit www.ymcadallas.org/give
